Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions form the contract between “you the pet owner” and Animal Travel Services Ltd.

The utmost respect and care shall be given to the owner’s pets. Pets will be handled with the understanding that Animal Travel Services Ltd, airlines, selected veterinarians and boarding facilities are at no time to be held responsible for the loss, death, accident or illness due to any cause either naturally or accidentally.

Animal Travel Services Ltd cannot be held responsible for unexpected flight delays, flight cancellations, change of aircraft or flight route or loss of documentation during transit.  Additional costs for boarding and/or repeat veterinary work may apply should any of these events occur.

Any postponement or change of flight date by the pet owner or their representative can incur charges from the airline. These are the direct responsibility of the pet owner.

Pet Insurance is not covered by Animal Travel Services Ltd, this can be taken out directly by the pet owner with their insurer.

Quote estimates are based on current prices and are valid for thirty (30) days.  These are based on breed, size and weight of the pet supplied by the owner or their representative. Should there be any increase in the IATA travel crate size due to rejection by the airline or MPI veterinarians, extra freight charges may apply.

Quote estimates are also subject to any airline rate increases.

Any prior health conditions and/or medications for your pet must be disclosed prior to booking flights.  This may affect your pet’s ability to travel.

Should your pet require additional veterinary attention for any reason whilst in the care of Animal Travel Services Ltd or their contractors, the costs will be at the expense of the pet owner.

All pets are required to be fully vaccinated for boarding.  Any additional vaccinations required for boarding are at the cost of the pet owner.

Full payment is required by the due date as specified in the quote estimate acceptance conditions, this can be paid in cash or directly into Animal Travel Services Ltd nominated bank account.  NO PAY - NO FLY

In the event of a complete cancellation, Animal Travel Services Ltd reserves the right to refund all or part payment after the deduction of costs already incurred.
